Meet our Founder

My name is Micaela Watson. I am an educator, entrepreneur, and the founder of Dream Builders Learning Center, an innovative learning space designed to empower students through academic support, enrichment, and future-ready skills. My background and experience are in education and psychology. I attended UCLA for my master’s in Education and the College of Wooster for a bachelor’s in Psychology. I most recently worked three years at Vanderbilt University conducting literacy intervention, classroom observations, and student assessments.

I am passionate about creating safe spaces where children are seen, supported, and heard. When children experience these positive emotions, they are more likely to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. I am driven by the commitment to expand opportunity and “serve the underserved”.
